How difficult to locate new 4R TRD ORP W/KDSS ?

Last September 2020 I purchased a new 4R TRD ORP with sunroof and KDSS in Nautical Blue for $42,500 one year later 4R has 9200 miles and dealer keeps sending me offers to purchase or trade for $45,697. These vehicles can't be that difficult to locate.

Have you looked?

They all need chips and those are not in abundance.


Besides, they want to make new sales anyway they can. The demand is up and the supply is low.
You might come out if they have one on the lot or find one that they can put you in and the numbers are in your favor.

Out here in New Mexico and the surrounding area, there is nothing to buy unless you reserve an allocated vehicle. We placed our deposit and waited 2 months for it to arrive. Of the 20+ dealerships we spoke with, none of them ever had a single vehicle on the lot for more than a day. Inventory is sparse so it's definitely within reason what they are offering.

I reserved mine with KDSS from allocation on Nov. 29th, it arrived on December 15th. I had to drive to Pueblo, Colorado to get it as my local dealership in Colorado Springs couldnt get exact features and were at 5k over msrp
