How do I fix this spot on my door?

Hi

I need advice from the body/paint wizards and gurus out there as to how to fix this nasty spot on my drivers door. I want to try to do this my self.

How big is it? If it's the size of a rock chip then just sand it until the rust and loose paint is gone. Clean it up and apply touch up paint. Go to the stealership and buy the touch up paint bottle, or order online.
