How do I know if I have DRLs? '03 4Runner

I am currently in the process of replacing the headlights, turn signal assemblies and fog light assemblies on a 4runner I just bought.

I've located the headlight and fog light assemblies. However when I look to order the turn signal assembly it has 2 options. One "With DRL" and the other "Without DRL" How do I know which kind I have?

Reason I'm replacing is because on all of the assemblies the sealing(?) has failed. There is a lot of condensation in all of them and one of the turn signal assemblies looks like a fish tank. None of the bulbs work except for drivers side fog, drivers side parking light & bright headlight, and the passenger side normal & bright headlight.

These are my options: Without DRL or With DRL

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! I love this truck!

Edit: I realize I could just see if the DRLs are on when the headlights are off, but like I said none of those bulbs are good and I have no spares. So I'm wondering if there is another way to know.

Disassemble and look at the original housing, the connections are different between the w/drl and w/o drl.

The lower one is the fog lamp. Not sure what the different connectors look like.

Looks like you do have drl. Is that the passenger side?

if you take a picture of the actual socket, where the bulb plugs in, we can tell you whether or not you have DRL's

Yes it is.

I took that picture earlier, I'm not home now, but when I get home I'll take a pic of the actual socket.

Now you guys have me wanting to run home just to take a pic and upload it lol.

I did that mistake by ordering w/o drl's. Still got them in the box.

my sockets looked like that when i had to replace them. they were burning out bulbs after about a week. its a $9 toyota only part, but after seeing them melt bulbs for a month it was worth replacing

Awwww man. I hope I don't have that problem. I was hoping it was just the water filled housing but seeing as how both sides are out, it might be the same issue you had. Then again most lights in front aren't working.

The 3rd brake light is also out. Luckily everything in the tail lights is working. /sigh lol

the issue for you may be a combination of both, unfortunately.... make sure when you put your new bulbs in to make sure they're fully seated, it takes a good push to get them in, if it still doesnt go on its more than likely the socket, in addition to the moisture

Glad I found this thread, all the sudden my front turn signals aren't working, first the drivers side then the passengers side stopped. Looks like I need new sockets, heading to the dealer shortly to see if They have them in stock.

Went to dealership and ordered the two sockets and the correct bulbs, will report if this fixes my problems after I get them Tuesday and switch them out.
