How do I know it has KDSS?

It shouldn't cost much. A half hour tops from start to finish for a competent mechanic. I'd ask them to replace it prior to delivery.

I'd also ask them to inspect for any other worn out rubber bushings.

I should add that it's not a critical repair. But if they'll replace it as a condition of the sale, that would be great.

Looks fine to me, I wouldn't worry about it.

Well, the bushing is still torn. Regardless of the fact whomever slid it back over next to where it tore off the rest of the bushing, and then tightened the clamp...

Is it critical? No.

Would I fix it? Yes.

But then I'm a former master tech with OCD.
