Thanks. This doesn’t surprise me. They keep saying don’t worry we inspect the vehicles 150 points, blah blah blah. I’m like no, I just want to see photos of the frame myself, it’s a Michigan owned vehicle and they are prone to rust. Nope, sorry, no more photos.

What a joke. Hopefully you don't get a rusted frame.. what side are the pictures you were supplied on. Did they send both sides? Remember the kdss system is on the driver's side. The passenger side has regular fixed end links and looks the same as non kdss. I'm not sure but the VIN number most likely has this information.
Forget them.
I'm sure something else will come along.
Check dealer sites for CPO. Thats how I got my first KDSS for less than the carvana listing.
That was pre pandemic tho..

33 grand sh1t. Try calling Toyota and giving them the VIN number. That spec should be within the VIN.
No, it doesn't look the same as non-KDSS. The KDSS swaybar attaches to the lower A-arm on both sides, whereas the regular swaybar attaches to the spindles.

Yeah, that's right my bad. I was referring to the "fixed link" opposite side of ram no "end" links. Thanks

Haha yeah it’s a lot of money. But for a vehicle with 2 years of drive time albeit 10 years old i guess… I mean the interior hasn’t changed much in 10 years anyway! Hahaha
I could call Toyota, doesn’t show anything on the owners specification website under the vin

Thanks for the quick response! 2016 Trail Premium I'm looking at. It's got 133k miles but good service history and minimal rust underneath it seems!

I assume the Carvana ad has the VIN listed? That should tell you if it's equipped with KDSS or not.
Just an FYI, the KDSS cylinder bushing around the swaybar is torn.

It shouldn't cost much. A half hour tops from start to finish for a competent mechanic. I'd ask them to replace it prior to delivery.
I'd also ask them to inspect for any other worn out rubber bushings.
I should add that it's not a critical repair. But if they'll replace it as a condition of the sale, that would be great.

Oh no this is a different one, this is a 16 trail. The other was a 13 trail on carvana. That whole thing was ridiculous. I think that one is still on carvana but purchase pending.
