How do know what is your 04 4Runner Sport ED originally equipped with?

Greetings:

I lost my Window sticker for my 04 4Runner Sport Ed bought in 11/2003. I thought I have a daytime running light (the orange color light up whenever I start the car up, not the headlight).
I need to bring mine to a bodyshop due to a rear end accident a couple days ago for a driver side bumper, a rear blinker light, and the lift gate repair. After picking up the car, I realize that the DRL are no longer working. I bring back to the shop and they assert that my car doesn't have such feature.
Does anyone know how can one check what is your car originally equipped with without a window sticker?

They used the wrong relay. There are two different relays for 4Runners with and without DRLs. Check with the dealer, they should be able to pull an option list for your VIN.

I just find my window sticker.

I complaint to the body shop and they said they have nothing to do with it. They only repair the back end light. They also did call the dealer and the dealer told them that my truck doesn't have this feature. However, my window sticker does show that my SUV is equipped with DRL.

What will you do if you are in this situation?

If the dealer was that confident and told the installer that it didn't have DRLs, and obviously your window sticker shows otherwise, I would take it to the dealer have them fix it. They provided misinformation to the body shop and a feature that you paid for on the vehicle is no longer functioning after the repair. At any rate I wouldn't pay the dealer or the body shop a dime to get the DRLs functional again, they can sort it out amongst each other.
