How do you install front speakers 4th gen?

I have a 2005 non JBL non RDS and want to replace the speakers myself. I keep reading on here that the front speakers might take a few extra steps. What exactly do you have to do to install the front speakers and tweeter? I can take off the door assembly myself, but what comes next? I am assuming the back speakers is just unplugging them and plugging in the new ones?

u can make custom spacers/ adapter to fill the door hole, then cut the right size circle for the speaker to be put in.
