How do you remove the map light assembly?

I have been fighting to remove the assembly that holds the map light and sunglass holder. It seems to clip into the headliner, but I can't for the life of me figure it out. I have pulled and pryed all around and am afraid I will break it. I looked at and exploded view and don't see any screws, but just can't get the thing out. I pulled the lenses out of the lights and that yielded nothing. I am at a loss.

pull straight down on the edge closest to the windshield. It will take some force, but don't worry, it won't break.

Yep, I just did this last night. I opened the sunglass holder and used it to pull. Pull with a quick and hard force but pull only a short distance. It will pop right out. Take a look at this pic for the arms and clips.

Thanks for the info and the pic. I got it off. Does the pic show the way the clips go back in? It looks like in the pic that they go back in with the narrow part of the 'V' going in first. Both of mine went flying so I am not sure how they go back in.

For anyone who finds this later on I would not recommend this method. I followed it and destroyed the clips on the side closest to the windshield and will need a new assembly.
