How do you take off the valance cover?

Sure its been asked 100 times but im trying to paint my valance cover and im just curious how its attached to the bumper. If id have to take the whole bumper off or what. Thanks

Front or rear? I took mine off with a tree, but I don't think that's the preferred method.

Plastic clips inside bumper. Not sure you can get at them without pulling the whole front end off.

I would like to know as well. Thinking about ordering black for the front and rear instead of trying plastidip.

You are correct - this has been asked 100 times. I had to remove front and rear bumpers to remove the valances. Others have said they were able to do the front valance without removing the front bumper. Google will help you find a YouTube video that shows front bumper removal. I also posted a bunch of photos on this forum for removing the rear bumper. Dig through my old posts and you’ll find what you’re looking for.

remove bump and there are a bunch of clips holding the valance. instead of buying a new black one, just vinyl wrap it. removing bumper and valance is a 10 min job and vinyl wrapping is pretty quick if youve done it before.
