How for can you drive with one full tank of gas?

It's unbelievable but I easily make 380 miles until warning light lit up and keep driving about 40 more miles until refill.

It looks too good to be true to me or the odometer is defective?
Oh, I typically drive roughly 60/40, city/freeway.


Let us know how far you can drive with one full tank of gas.

Pretty much every car manufacturer attempts to make it stupid proof by telling you that you're out of gas before you are, so you don't actually wait until you're completely out of gas. Reading in this forum, I've seen people say the drove 40+ miles with the car reporting 0 miles left. So by the time the average person says, "Oh shit, I'm out of gas", they still have a chance. I imagine without this built in wiggle room, you'd see a lot more cars on the side of the road.

I get 400 pretty consistently depending on how I drive. Around 380 or 90 before light comes on.

Usually car manufacturers will have 1.5 - 2.0 gallons once you hit 0 MILES. If you are getting 15 mpg, then expect to drive 22 to 30 more miles after you hit 0 MILES. If you are getting more than 15 mpg then expect a little more.
However, I advised you not to drive it until it runs out of gas when trying to figure out how many miles can be driven on 1 tank. Running the gas pump dry can damage it.
415 miles is the max number of miles I have gotten from a full tank, but I was driving mostly highway. When I pump it full (appox. 20.5 gallons), I get 386 miles left on the trip monitor little computer.

as other members have stated your driving the vehicle with the fuel warning lamp on is not very smart , unless your liking the cost to replace the fuel pump and a tow .

look up this,,, running the vehicle on gas fumes and what failures will happen ..

best to keep the fuel above 1/4 tank at all times..

Yep. If you want the tank drained for some reason, there are better ways to do it.

I've been to austin a lot, nobody is getting good mileage there, traffic is either stopped or 80+ lol

I must have the heaviest foot in the universe because since the day it rolled new off the lot I have never seen it go above 17 mpg

Except the 4R is made for the dummy population and still has 4 gallons left in the tank when it comes on

Before the lift and before all the snow hit, I could get 20'ish mpg on the highway.

With the front lifted 2.5" (waiting to get the rear lift springs installed), I recently did a short 1.5hr jaunt on the highway and got 13 mpg (17L/100kms). That's while driving way faster than the speed limit (110 kph/70mph was the limit and I was driving 140-145kph/85-90mph). You can't get good mileage when you drive that fast.

On the way back on the same trip, I got 18mph or 13L/100kms. Not sure what changed there as I was driving the same speed. Can wind **** shit up that much?

Curious to see what the fuel mileage is if I drive the speed limit on the highway. I'll probably never know.

I haven’t filled up yet since purchasing my off road premium with XP package. I haven’t seen better than 14 ish yet...at 1/2 a tank now. I will update as I fill up and check mileage.

i'm getting about 15mpg in my 2019 TRD PRO. I know I've got a heavy foot and most of my driving is cityish

Literally no idea but I get 16 mpg driving up and down mountains in the snow. I can't leave the range predictor mode on because I hate the ECO meter so dam much.
