My inner tie rods need replacing. I just looked on camelback and they look to be $125 per.
Is it not worth it saving money on non OEM here?

How important is OEM when it comes to inner tie rod?

nope, super basic part. does not wear out plus most aftermarkets will have a lifetime warranty

By the time you need to replace the aftermarket ones (I use Beck Arnley) it will be time for a Safari rack or you will have moved on to another 4runner.

I agree that OEM quality is not necessary for the ITRE, but fair warning, there may be a design problem with aftermarket ITRE's... See PS Rack Replacement
I don't know if the Toyota ITRE's have a wider opening to prevent this kind of contact, but I have only a modest lift, (probably settled to under 2 inches at this point), and if I'm bottoming out, some of the 3in guys are probably doing it worse. Even stock guys may be able to bottom out the aftermarket if they hit full droop.
If you have, or end up getting OEM ITRE's, do us a favor and measure them for us so we can check this.

Ended up ordering the inner and outer Beck Arnley from Amazon. Using my Prime account I got free shipping. All and all they came out to be the same price of one OEM from camelback.
Excuse my ignorance here. What is full droop?
