150k easily, 200k probably. My family had an Acura legend for almost 18 years. 160k miles and it ran like new; however, it was falling apart. It seems the mechanical components of high quality Japanese cars outlast the bodywork and all issues that come with age - rust, corrosion etc etc. Rubber goes, seals leak etc.
Depends on PM mostly.
People seem to dump these things at 90k b/c of an expensive service (v8 at least) They think because its a Toyota is reliable which means, no service. However, its quite the opposite, with good service brings reliability to any car - especially Toyotas.

I would say 200K+ is very easy and 300K+ is very probable with proper maintenance and care.

Correct, side airbags were an option on 2007, regardless of the trim.
Engine and transmission - for sure. The rest of components may not live for so long.
I would stay away from trucks with rear air suspension and/or XREAS, as repairs on these components are expensive. And if you plan to keep the truck for a long time, then the question is not IF they'll fail, but WHEN...

i have 150k on my 03 v8. I don't know if it runs like new because I bought it used, but I can't imagine it running any better than it does right now.

Indefinite really, but maintenance will get gradually more expensive as things wear out. I typically keep my vehicles over 200k, and choose carefully vehicles that are likely to get there without major expenses. These 4Runners have few weak points, well maintained should go 200k before they start needing things like wheel bearings and suspension parts. Apparently guys are replacing ball joints earlier than that, something to watch for. Of course it depends on how they're used, my cars used to drive 400 miles straight highway to work and back several times a month, and not much else, so not much wore out.
The problem with all modern cars now is they aren't as maintainable. Things are pressed together instead of bolted, so very expensive assemblies have to be replaced instead of just a bearing or ball-joint. I like to repack my wheel bearings every 100k, but the rear bearings on most vehicles are pressed in and not serviceable without taking all the suspension apart and bringing the hub to a shop with a hydraulic press. Keeping a car past 200k is going to be expensive now.

I have to disagree with this recommendation. Yes, there were several members that had to replace corroded sensors on the rear air susp. What you have to realize is there were just a handful out many years of production and most of the failures were in early production. If you look at the history of this feature and then look at the feature itself, there is no reason to avoid it. If you tow or carry cargo (could be several passengers) the auto leveling rear suspension is worth its weight in gold. It also provides a better ride then coil springs, especially after time. I personally had no issues with it and I would not want to be without it. If you wanted to add this feature (OEM quality) aftermarket it would cost over $5000. This is a very elaborate system.
As far as XREAS, they are just shocks that can be replaced with regular shocks, if they fail. Again, the failure rate shows it should be no concern at all!
