How many 4Runners have you owned?

This is my first, and I'm sure it won't be my last....

This is my first. I've had several trucks (all 4WDs) and many cars. Was just telling my wife tonight that I expect I'll be buying 4Runners or other Toyota trucks for the rest of my life! She has already "claimed" the current one when I give it up for something newer. Makes both of my boys angry but at least it will get her out of a minivan!
Also means I might get a new 4Runner in the near future!

One 4runner...first gen. It just keeps running!

I bought an '84 Xtracab 2wd pickup w/ 22re back in '86 for $5700. In the summer of '90, it got bombed by golf-ball sized hail in Denver (got $3K from the insurance company), but no broken glass. I subsequently drove it for 6 years in Central NY (yeah, salt all over the roads, temps in the single digits), then sold it for $2K. It still ran great and only the tailgate was rusted (but still worked)! So doing the math, I only lost $700 on a vehicle that I drove for 10 years and never broke down once!!!

Only one, but that's all it has taken me to become hooked on Toyota vehicles. I plan to keep my '04 Runner until Toyota comes out with an hybrid edition......probably in '08 or '09. The previous poster is right; once you start reading this forum then it becomes addicting. I realized this same experience about nine months ago.

I have always had small honda coupes, but the 4Runner ROCKS....

86 4x4 auto that was perfect before it died in a bad wreck.
88 4x4 manual that I bought for parts for the 86 before it died.
94 4x4 manual that we have now and love it !
So far thats all but I am sure that are going to be more in the future !

I had 2. I always wanted one so i got myself a 1993. Black it was owned by someone who liked mods. Thing had evey possible addition to the car. I replaced the rear door as it was rusty. Other thatn that I felt that car had no power. Even though it was a stick shift engine was weak. I only liked how it looked. It was also raised. It was high!! very high. No sag in the rear.

New one is 2003. I like that it is a 4.7 liter as opposed to a 3.0 I like the pick up i like how it looks very slender, very gymnist-like.

Me and my wife really enjoy this ride. I probably would get myself a GX470 next i like the toys... I wish it my 4r had more toys such as memory for seats. Very usefull feature in a family situation.

How many 4Runners

I've owned five 4Runners, '85, '89, '91, '00 and just recently a '03 SR5-V-8. have also owned a '95 T-100, 93 Ext Cab PU, '03 RAV4, '85 Celica GTS, and I could go on for 46 more cars but I digress, if my Dad had only let me get that first car when I wanted it, I wouldn't be this way......

Any one know of a support group for car buyers?...CSM-H
