A lot of civilians!!!!! Its ok though. Civilians think they run everything so for security forces it sucks!

haha then you will fit right in!! If you drink prepare for changes. Also prepare for most things to be closed on sundays or if they are open they open late.

Navy brat here. Dad was an E9 Master Chief, served mostly on subs and was in for 23 years. He retired out of the Groton/New London submarine base.
Not the military but I served in the US Peace Corps for 2.5 years in sub-sahara Africa. I drove a Land Cruiser for part of my service which is where I got bit by the 4X4 bug.

Thanks to all who have served, especially Sgt McClintock, 19th Group SF, Washington Nation Guard who was KIA in Afghanistan earlier this week. One of my sons (Army 0-3, Fort Bragg) is currently deployed to the Middle East. His brother is an 0-2, Texas National Guard. His wife just got out of Navy, was Aviation Rescue Swimmer. My dad was a WWII B-17 man, England, North Africa, and Italy. I'm not a vet. But I sure appreciate those who are.
