Two weeks into boot camp is when Iraq invaded Kuwait. Ended up stationed in the P.I., Subic Bay, got to ride out the Mt. Pinatubo volcano eruption and typhoon and was there right up to the base closure.

For those that were stationed there or stopped through, you know............and for those of you who heard about that place, yeah, it was all that and then some.

Was this a completely random post? I looked back a page and didn't see anything that pushed you to make the comment. I could be wrong though. It's just weird you say you don't want anything to do with the military in a military driven thread, about a military focused bank that has great benefits for military members and vets. Maybe change your bank?
