Take care of the body and frame, drain and fill the transmission every 30k or so, as well as the differentials and transfer case fluids regularly, and it will go well past 300k.

Expect little things to go out but yes you can go way above 300K with proper maintenance especially since your AWD (Im assuming). Items I would inspect more often:
Wheel bearings
Tie rods/Ball Joints
axle seals
CV Joints
U joints
differentials
As long as your aware of these minor items and your able to replace them or dont mind paying the labor you will be just fine! Enjoy

I have seen Dodge pickups, Jeeps, Hondas, etc. with over 500,000 miles. I have also seen one or two 4Runners on this forum showing almost 500,000 on the odometer. It's certainly possible to go a half million or more in modern vehicles. The key is maintenance. It takes a lot of money to keep going that far. Everything for these Toyotas is expensive.
At some point, I think you get to the point where it's not economical to keep sinking money into a vehicle and it's better to replace it. But you've got a long way to go.

I'm on Toyota #6 (3rd T4R) and I typically sell them after 200k miles but only because I can afford new, NOT because of any mechanical issues. I have little doubt that I could have put over 300k, possibly 400k or better, on any of those.

My 04 SR5 v6 2wd has 173 and change. I have changed the tranny fluid once since buying her with 150k.
I plan replacing the LCA and UCA arms along with a Daystar budget lift this weekend. I also just got the Sport roof rack and new headlights as well. The old rack covers broke and the headlights have yellowed.
Beyond that, I just bought my wife a new 13 WRX and alot of those guys send their oil in to Blackstone Laboratories to get it analyzed. Its $25 and they let you know what all is in your oil, ie. copper, steel, aluminum etc and let you know the ending viscosity of your oil and if you can go further on oil changes. Real cool stuff and I plan on sending in the 4R's next oil change to see what they say.

You're V8 is going to fail in less than 10k miles, you should sell it to me for 173,000 cents!

WOW!! Tons of miles left on all these rigs.. I can't wait to hit 200k... Will be a while but want to take a picture doing it lol..

When you posted this did you mean they had just changed a pump and belt with that many miles. Mine has 185k and im getting a little nervous.

Man I feel left out here with only 87,000 miles on my 2008 V8 sport. Ok not really, I will enjoy the lower mileage while I can even though I am coming up on my first timing belt\waterpump change. Oh well, I just did brakes all around, new suspension and new tires. When I purchased it the carfax shows the previous owner did all the fluid changes so I think I will survive...

I got 220k on my 06. About to do all the suspension bushings and joints. A buddy bought an 06 with 300+k. Had to swap out the tranny, but after that ran as good as mine. I feel I can get 400k before a do a model upgrade.
At 90K make sure you have the timing belt, water pump, etc changed since you have the V8. I have my indy do it for much less than the dealer.
