It shocks me that people still join T4R in 2023 (Yes, looking at your join dates) after owning a 3rd gen with between 300k-400k miles and 20+ years old, lol.

You both have me beat in terms of the 97. My 97 is sitting at 270k atm.

I bought mine in Sept. of 2022 with 281k on it. So only 4,000 of those miles are from me. I joined because it was in pretty rough shape, and this is a great place to learn how to spend all my money what to prioritize in terms of maintenance and repairs.

That's certainly true. But I drink the Dave Ramsey Kool-Aid so I don't do debt payments on cars. Like Randy Moss says, "straight cash homie."
