How many miles?

I've only had my 03Runner 14 months, and just registered over 30,000 miles on it, problem-free I might add. What a great vehicle!! I drive it constantly, in town, and every other weekend for 1,000 mile trips. Plus have driven it on a 6,000 mile trip to California and a 4,000 mile trip to Utah. Is this a typical number for that age vehicle? What are your mileage numbers?

I bought mine at the end of May. Now I'm right at 15,000 miles without any trips longer than 100 miles. I do drive about 55 miles each way for work.

Love driving the Runner and it just makes you feel good in it.

2003 (Nov 16) here

now odo reads 51K....( new trip to Colorado will take place for next week).....

No problems at all..

Picked up my 03 on 4/15/03. Have 21089 miles on it as of this morning. No long trips yet. But have been out on several moderate off road excursions.

So far it hasn't had any problems that required trips to the dealer. Though I'm thinking about taking it in to get the TSB for the rotten egg smell performed.

I better start driving more. I picked mine up on 9/13/03 and have 14,980. Well, as expected, not problems at all!! :p

Picked up my '04 SportEdition near the end of August, just passed 4,000 miles a couple days ago.

I rolled a total of about 148,000 on my 1995 4R. One of the most reliable vehicles I've ever owned, that's for sure.

Bought mine on Oct. 24th and Now at Nov. 21, mine's already at 1250. Been breakin it in, I gave my other car a rest.

Jsarche:

Great worry-free news on your 95. My 93 had 165K when I sold it less than a month ago. Blown engine at 115K and Toyota installed me a whole new short block at no charge, 55K after the warrenty expired. 1 Main brake tube that travels from front to rear rusted at 155K. That was it. Original exhaust and shocks too. The most reliable transportation I ever owned.

By the way, almost 2 months old on my 04, just turned 3200 miles, and the drivers seat just started making noise.:cursin:

Got my 03 in Nov 02. 29k miles. I tried to save it a bit for longer trips, used my GF's LR for short trips around town.

Unfortunately the quality is not what I expected, it is good but far from perfect. I thought it was because it was a very early model, but lots of people with 04s still seem to have some of the problems. I think Toyota needs to step up their quality a bit, if they want to sell their vehicles at a premium. a 4R is hardly cheap any more, especially if you get a Limited V8.
