How many psi?

i've got 17 inch bfg a/t duelers (new) on oem rims. i find the tires look a little, with the sidewalls being ) in shape...all psi is 35-36, what do you guys run?

bridgestone makes the duelers, bfg makes the all terrain ta, so which is it & what load range?

ah sorry. meant bridgestone. truck is stock 03 v8 limited. no lift or extra load

ok, dueler at, but which one? Bridgestone Tires Available at Tire Rack i have the revo 1 on my highlander , they are smaller in size but i run about 40. its a slightly firmer ride but the front s seem to not round off as much.

I find 36PSI to work well, I have Dunlops on my '04 V8. Honestly, some flex is not bad, you want a good footprint with the tire. I have to constantly advise my customers against over filling their tires and such because all it does is promote less traction and more wear on the center of the tire.

35 is what is recomended i beleive.

I run mine at 38 psi.

Correction, I checked my pressure again this morning since I've been trying different pressures since I got these tires about 4000 miles ago and my cold pressure is 36 PSI at 70 degrees. I used to have them at 38 PSI (cold) but after the tires warmed up on hot days they would wander on the highway due to the increased pressure a little too much for my liking.

I begin at what pressure the door jam placard calls for and then experiment in 2 PSI increments from there until I find what I like. But since I tow frequently, I'm usually changing pressures anyway.

The door jam in my '04 recommends 32psi. I find that if I run it at higher psi the 4Runner drives squirrelly on the highways (tends to track everything on the road which can be scary and requires a heavy hand).
