How many quarts of oil?

So I'm about to change my oil for the first time in my 95 with the 3.0. I'm wondering how many quarts you guys use for a typical 3.0 oil change. I've seen 4.8 in my chilton manual and 5.5 in other places.

5.4 if you replace the filter (and I can't imagine why you wouldn't).

Yeah I'm definitely chaning the filter. Thanks, I know I could just pour some in and check a million times, but I figured it would be easier this way.
