Bought a used 14 trail with 34k miles for 31 before ttl. They had it marked at 34. I called 10 dealerships in a 500 mile radius and told them all that they beat deal gets my money. Most of the 33k stickers wouldn't move and. One of the toyota dealerships would move at all.

I just bought 4runner TRD off road Premium with moonroof for $39.5K OTD. My taxes in FL is 7%. I think I got a decent deal, was the cheapest I could find with options I wanted in 3 states.

Uh just about anywhere else. If you live in Cali take a flight to Nevada, Arizona, Utah or Colorado and drive back in a new 4Runner. Makes for a great road trip and you'll save thousands. The Cali folks get raped on most things.

going to go pick up my 2017 TRD Offroad prem in white in AZ for $38.6K. cali tax is 8.75 and i gotta pay a az tax 2.5. i'll pay the extra tax im still getting a better deal than anywhere in cali.
my friend works for toyota corp. he priced out a family deal. $33K fully loaded trd offtroad premium w/sunroof. damn.

Purchased a TRD Off Road on Monday. $41,300 out the door, Dealer is installing heated leather seats. I could not get them quite that low on a TRD Off Road Premium, which is what I wanted.

I picked up my 2017 TRD Off Road Premium with sunroof, exhaust tip, floor mats and roof rack cross bars (MSRP $40879) from Toyota of Hollywood back in April for $40029. I had a hard time getting accurate inventory (Toyota web site is useless) but found cargurus.com pretty accurate. It seems shipments would come in every other week, with only a hand full of TRDs destined for dealers. I found dealers posting incoming TRDs on their web sites about a week in advance of arrival, if they weren't already spoken for. When I saw mine listed on cargurus I checked the Toyota of Hollywood web site and they had it listed too. I called the day after is was posted on their web site and the sales guy talked to the manager and they said if I put down a $500 deposit on it, they'd give me $850 off. All other dealers I'd talked to wanted MSRP. I picked it up a week later when it arrived.
I def agree with the CarGurus advice. I find them to be one of the best online sources for vehicles. I actually sold my truck for a great price on CarGurus. Autotrader has turned into a joke.
