Lithia Toyota in Medford! They were running an employee special. Charlie took really good care of us. Most of the dealers in the Portland area are the "no haggle" kind, and they just couldn't meet that price.

We bought a 2019 limited almost exactly a year ago. This is off topic and I apologize, but has anyone had any issues with the head unit? Ours went dead and has to be replaced. A little worried that this is a sign of things to come. Thanks in advance.

You're fine.
It's a common issue with the T4R. It's a recall in Canada where some people need to have something reset. Failing that, replace the head unit. It's limited only to the head unit.
I only know because my friend bought a Limited recently and told me about some "electronic" problems he had. I googled it and it's a really basic recall.

i just paid $32,600 before taxes for my new 2019 4x4 SR5 in Colorado. i'd say anything below or at $33k is a good deal since you'd be in the 13%+ off MSRP neighborhood

Yep, real good deal.
After being away from this site for almost four years, l sold my 3rd gen, and bought a new '19 TRD Off-road premium. KDSS, Moonroof, Wilderness package, and a few other options.
MSRP was 44,300.00.
Bought it for a little over 6k off MSRP.
I'll miss the old '97. But the new '19 which only had 1 mile on it when I took it for a test drive, is nice. My Mom in the passenger seat, likes the heated seats.

Purchase price seems excellent!
Must live in a high tax state. 4k for taxes and fees seem high.
Can anyone explain the premium audio $1,500 option? The specs look exactly like the stock audio. Are the components actually premium, or is there just a Toyota navigation app included?
On the surface, this looks like a giant rip off because CarPlay and Android auto are stock options and have great map apps.
