2000 w rear locker, 230XXX on the clock, for $1k. Missing passenger half shaft, passenger rear brake leak, hood latch fubared, cracked instrument cluster lens, leaking valve covers, drivers window has issue with scissor bracket, needs paint, but most importantly to me besides the rear locker, no rust. Yeah it also needs driver's seat reupholstered along with console lid. Needs new bumper and lower bumper section.

Bought my 2000 Limited 4x4 with 215k from the 2nd owner back in Jan of this wretched year. Had all svc records from 2008 up including radiator, TB/WP and he took it to the Yota dealer before he posted it up for sale and spent $1500 on PM! No locker but paint and body probably a 7.5 out of 10, interior 7 out of 10 and ZERO rust! $3500

This past weekend paid $4,100 for a 1999 4WD SR5 with 115K miles. Original owner, service records. Exterior a 7.5 and minor surface rust in two places. Interior an 8.

In your guys experience, are 5-speeds more expensive? I've been scouring the country for 5-speeds in solid condition (8/10 interior and exterior) with <150k miles, and the best I've found has been $13k with a salvage title. That seems to be way more than the prices I'm seeing here.

I traded my slightly built 92 K1500 Suburban for my 97 SR5. Gonna be easier to hit more trails in the T4R than it would have been in the Suburban.

3 months ago paid 4500 for a 2001 4wd SR-5. 265k fixxer upper ( ran rough) otherwise pretty straight. Gray cloth interior. Gambled on it, lucked out...just needed a coil and plugs but still has 420 code but misfire code is now off.
now to start fixing and modding rare to see any good running 4runner up here for under 5k....2 available now...one at 7800 and another at 6500
