How much did you pay for your 3rd gen?

5500$ 140k. It has all the service records starting from mile 200. Drove six hours to get it. Runs like a champ. Had to replace the battery. The prev owner did all i the mods. I just wax it. :D

I paid $4500 tax etc included.... purchased January 2010.

99 black / tan cloth. base 2.7L RWD, stick, 102k. shaky 20" dubs. Antenna doesn't go down. Florida vehicle, some splitting of clearcoat on hood and around door handles. rotors a little warped. clear title. So far I'm very impressed. Would like more comfy seats though.

sold the dubs for $400.
 
I bought my for 5500 in Jan. 2010, it was from Texas with 100K even, leather seats, little wear and tear, 4wd, 3.4V6.
I thought it was a fraud but the guy was an idiot, the ones I looked at in Colorado went for 9000
 
I got a 1997 T4R, Automatic, SR5, 4x4, V6, White. It has Oak cloth interior. I paid $6000 plus tax and fees. I can't believe I got it so cheap. I found a 1998 Manual for $9000 with similar mileage. It has had bumper damage, but the extent of the repairs includes a new bumper and bumper brackets. It also has some hesitation, which is from the 13 year old spark plug wires. Otherwise, all it needs is some new tires (currents are 6 years old). It is SUPER clean.

Bought my 1-owner 2000 Limited 4x4 for $8900 + tax/title last weekend. 100K miles and in very good shape. Previous owner must've backed into something when the rear door was up as there was some minor repair done to it. Nothing major--door shuts. They also repainted the rear bumper, no biggie. Interior leather is in great shape (rear seats look new) and everything works.

Drives great and has the normal 4runner anomolies and gremlins. No regrets...happy to be in a Toyota 4x4 again.
 
Bought my '02 Black 4x4 SR5 V6 auto with 56K miles for $13.5K. It was a 1 owner in great condition, and I have know the guy I bought it from for 8 years. so it was good buy. The only thing wrong with it was the antenna..
 
$2500 for my 97 limited 4x4 with 131k miles. Bought it from my father who was the original owner. I have a feeling I am going to spend many times that on it though.

2000 4x4 Loaded with all but climate control, purchased in April 07 with 52,000 on it for $11,400.

Totaled 12/09 105,000 Not Happy.

Replaced 2/1/10

2000 Limited loaded that needs tow package 72,000 miles $10,500.
 
1998, 2WD, 3RZ (4cyl), 5spd... Flawless paint, some dents in the bumpers and 193,000 miles for $3500. It's my third Toyota with an 'RZ engine and I love it. I don't worry for a minute about it giving me any mechanical trouble.
 
man...some screamin deals bein had out there...makes me feel like i got taken...97 SR5 with everything but leather 123,000k.....wrecked front for $3000....it's gonna run about $1500 all together (i'm doin the work) but it's in perfect shape otherwise...timing belt and water pump done @ 120,000 and brand new tires still showin the blue on the letters....but i am in CO...and as someone said a few post back...same car would have an asking price of 7-8k on craigslist.

Paid $9k OTD for a 2001 SR5 w/Leather seats and 90k miles. I felt good about it as they were hard to come by in the Fall of '09.
 
2001 Limited 170K miles $6900 great shape 5 Feb 2010. Love it, this is my 3rd 3gen 4Runner hope to get another for the wife next year!
