How much do you think I could get for my 4Runner?

I suppose you guys are correct about regionality. I have never seen one, but then again I have never seen a 2wd here either. They are not mentioned much on the forum, I suppose those who own them are not likely to be forum entheusiasts.

And the V6 5speed 4x4 is a minority, but it's not uncommon here at all. Finding one clean enough that you would buy it is the hard part.

Sure, it's rare -- but a 6cyl, 5spd, 4wd is even more rare and better

A 2WD, 5 speed I4 is rarer. 99% of them are A/T.

Agreed, I'd take it. Lots of rust free parts on there for me. I'd rebuild the motor with forged pistons & cam for my supercharger. I'd have the trans & frame for future use too. The cost of shipping it up here would suck.

There's a bunch of 2WD drive guys on here but most aren't doing builds. Most were sold in the South, you never see them in the NE. V6 5 speeds aren't hard to find, you might have to travel or ship one home but they're out there. I would only want a 99 or 00 Highlander with a locker so then it gets harder.

Update: I sold it for $1200 cash less than 24 hours from listing it on FB marketplace.
I did not have the space or time to part it out. I'm gonna miss my 2WD, 4Cyl, 4Runner, but still have my 5th Gen Ltd. Thanks everyone for advice.
