How Much Lift is on this 4Runner?

Can anyone guess how much lift is on this 2007 4runner and what size tires are used. Also, do you think any wheel spacers are used. Thanks. I don

I would say 1-1.5" wheel spacers.

Probably 18" wheels. Those tires look like they would be equivalent to 265/70/17.

My guess would be a 2/3 lift.

Thanks! So to get this look, if I buy an SR5, I could get the Cornfed 3/2 lift and 265/75/16 tires. I am not sure I want to upgrade to 18" wheels. Are the wheel spacers mainly for a more aggressive look or would you recommend getting those installed too. I plan on doing light offroading. Thanks again.

it depends if your going to keep the stock rims , if you get new ones, get them with back spacing that will push them out farther. aside from a wider looking stance, the wheel spacers keep the tires from rubbing on the uca, but more than likely, youll need to move the inner fender forward, & maybe trim the bumper slightly. its just a tiny bottom corner & JA s write ups in here tell ya how. super easy. whether you get the SR5,SPORT OR LTD, the 3/2 will work but so will a 2/1 with that size tire. infact , you can just raise the front 2in. to save $, ( 1in. may be enough), the 3/2 will give the look you want & let ya run 275, or 285 with wheel spacers. good luck getting your ride & let us know whats works out. oh, in case your new ,welcome to the forum!

Thanks for your help Chaz. Do you think there would be any rubbing if I got the smaller 265/75/16 tires. I think they are only about an inch larger than stock tires. Just to clarify, if I get the 265/75/16 ones then I wouldn't need any wheel spacers unless I want the look, correct. But if I go for tires any larger then there would be rubbing and I will definitely need the wheel spacers (or new rims with back spacing) and I will need to do some simple work to get rid of the rubbing. Is 1" enough or would 1.5" be better. Thanks

only an in.(1) larger then stock can be run even without a lift, i ran 265/70/17 (1in, more) than 265/65/17 stock & only had to move the inner fender forward a bit,(only cause it rubbed backing up while turning) its real easy & you cant even notice it. im not sure what the 265/75/16 are but again, if there only an in. more, then yes. there is someone in this forum that got 275/70/? to fit, with no lift. to sum it up, if your on a tight budget, the 1 in. front only lift (spacer) will work & look better with the size tire you stated. wheel spacers are not needed until you go to 285s & maybe some 275s. unless you like the look of it, the 3/2 lift is only needed if you go 285s, again unless you like the look. ive got the 2/1 with 265/70/17 cause to me it looks better , i did have to trim abit cause of the wheels i used. if you want, pm me your email add. & ill send pics . in case you dont, & money is tight, youl be fine with a 1-2 in. front leveling kit. remember tho, that the front raises twice that of the spacer thickness, so 1/2 in. spacer = 1 in. lift, - 1 in.spacer = 2 in. lift.

The short story is 265/75/16's or 265/70/17's run with no issues with or without a lift. The T4R accommodates up to a 275/70/17 or equivalent with no issues, you can even carry a spare. 285's require trimming and you'll tolerate some light UCA (upper control arm) rubbing when the wheel is fully cut or get after market rims/wheel spacers to get the offset near zero. (Stock is 30mm.) With the wider stance minor trimming may be required even with the 31.5"-32" tires. It's very minor work. Good luck and :iagree: with the other guys, the pictured T4R has a 3/2, Daystar 2.5/1.5 or some other lift to get it into that range...
