How much sunroof leak is normal?

Howdy all - I've blown out the front drains and that seems to help with my wet floor but still getting some water so going to do the rear drains next. I was curious what is 'normal' with water penetration around the sunroof? I can see drops coming in primarily in the passenger side rear corner area and drips on drivers side front corner. I've read some water is normal hence why they have the channels/drains but I would have to think there is a scenario in which one could be getting too much water inside but I don't know what that would look like. Do other people actually see drops/drips inside around their sunroofs?

Also I was curious if anybody knew if the front & back drains are 'connected' via channels - meaning if I were parked on a decline in a storm is the water getting in by the rear of the sunroof going to move to the front drains? thx

it shouldnt leak at all. Two of my three 4runners had sunroofs, never leaked at all, not a drop.

I don't have any leaks. But one thing you might try is not quite closing it all the way. You might notice that if you start to open it, it sort of goes upwards, then back down again before opening. If you tap "open" just a tiny bit until its in the most "upward" position, it can make a better seal.

Seems it's already at the upmost point - so hitting open quick just started to lower it
