How should I choose an exhaust kit??

well i have the cherrybomb vortex, 3inch in and out on my 07 sport 4.0, its nice sound to it. heres a video.

I posted on another thread, but I pulled the trigger on the Borla Dual Exhaust from Burtmanindustries.com. I hope I can install this and the Volant on my Post Deployment leave.

thanks for the vid but couldnt really here much but would u say its loud or just a good quality low tone when idleing and nice sound when accelerating??

hate to tell u, but its a little loud too, anyone here with a cherrybomb vortex muffler will say its loud. but to me its deep loud.

well is it a good loud or a dodge truck straight pipes loud?? and like the question before did u choose to put it out the side and how much to install if u dont mind me askin??

Dodge straight pipes sound good in my opinion, but that's not how the Vortex sounds, not saying that the Vortex isn't nice, but they are two different types of sounds.

I paid less than $100 for the muffler and install.

where did u get the muffler??? ebay??? cause i can only find it on burtman industries for 99.99 but i dont know what size to get.... riceandpho what size in and out pipes is the muffler????

Fall break is awesome, definitely needed it.

3rd Gen is 2.25". I think it's center in and offset out.

well thats funny cause if 3rd gen is different then y does burtman industries sell it and say it works for 4runners with a 15 year span to 2009?????? i dont want to pay 100 bucks so i want it on ebay for cheap i think im about to go measure

Yeah, I'd measure just to be sure.

well i dont have a parkin pass so im gonna get there early and park at the university village which is where he stays then im gonna ride with him up to the stadium and meet up with friends. and do the inlets and outlets have to be the same size or do u think one should overlap the other. just guessing not sure....

They should be close. I'm sure the shop could make it work, but I'd still measure the tubing that there now.
