I have a Kenwood KAC-9102D amp http://www.crutchfield.com/S-QWsuf6Awjrt/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?i=113KAC9102

I also have 1 KFC-W3514DVC http://www.kenwood.ca/Car_Entertainment/Subwoofers/12''_Subwoofers/KFC-W3514DVC

I am planning on upgrading to 2 of these subs because i love the first one. What would you recommend for a method of setting this up?

I was thinking about this ... http://www.crutchfield.com/learningcenter/car/subwoofers_wiring.html?imageID=2DVC_4-ohm_2ch

Or should I just leave it with the single dvc?

You can't do that setup with 2 subs properly with the amp you have. If you want more out of the 1 sub with that amp then wire the one sub as the diagram shows (parallel) and you will increase the power by reducing impedance. Going with 2 subs will require another amp. Hope this helps

Ya I went to a car audio shop today and they told me i couldnt do that. So for now my plan is to run both at 4 ohms and then maybe add another amp in later ( i'll see how it sounds). My amp is 1 ohm stable but they said they had problems with them overheating.
