How to add a phone list on 2010 T4R

Hey Brothers and Sisters.

Any one here know how to add phone list to use hand free on the 2010 T4R System with IPhone. I managed to pair the phone but not able to export the contact list to it. However I can add entry one at a time by using voice command. If anyone know please shed some light on me. Thank you all in advance.

Hi SFX,

Not too sure if your nav is exactly the same as mine (2012 limited, Entune), but, the way that I export my phonebook is... "Go to 'SET-UP' button on the dash (console). Choose>> 'Refresh' in the list of options." The system will then export ALL of your contacts to the system. That's it! I don't use an iphone but 'Android' but it still should work, Best!

EDIT: "Sorry, I meant to tell you to press 'SET-UP'... not the 'PHONE' button"

Thank you both for your quick replies. However I still stuck at where the System tell me to send the phone list from my phone, I just can't find how to do that, I may have to call Apple Tech support. Anyway thank you once again.
 
If you figure it out, please let me know. I have not been able to figure it out myself for my 2013 limited w/o Entune

Can you snap a shot of your head unit; this may provide more insight into what's going on with your system. Best to you.

i would remove the phone from the Nav unit, remove it as a music player, turn off the ignition, turn on again, re-add the phone as new, transfer contacts, and re-add as BT music player.

mine has always transferred contacts fine. but periodically my Nav "deletes" all my contacts for no reason, however. it doesn't really matter to me; i just use my phone to dial and the hands-free always works perfectly via the steering wheel buttons.

Same here. I got to that part. I think we suppose to start sending contact list from the Phone before we hit "Confirm" but I was not able to figure out how to send the contact list from an iPhone.
 
i don't get it: the Nav "pulls" the contacts from the paired phone, you don't have to do anything on the phone to "push" them :confused:
