How to celebrate 100k miles?

The mileage king is closing in on 100,000 miles on my 2010 4R TE and was wondering what traditional celebration activities were in order?

What do you do for a living that warrants driving your vehicle that often? A 4Runner isn't much of a tow vehicle so hot shotting doesn't really make sense.

That's a lot of miles for a 2010.

I usually fully detail my cars... Even though I do it at least every 2 weeks. Ill also do any maintenance that needs to be done.

For such a young vehicle I'd be depressed and wished I would've bought something else to run the miles up on and save the 4Runner.

That is a lot of miles! I'm not sure I even have enough patience to drive that many even if I wanted to.

Just out of curiosity, what problems have you had with your TE in the first 100k miles?

I drive about 45k per year for my work and my last two vehicles were Grand Cherokees that I put on well over 200k miles each. But not without problems.

I hope and wish that by changing to Toyota this time I can reduce the problems and save on down time.

With my last Jeep I bought a 100k mile extended warranty and it paid out somewhere around $6000.00 in repairs before it expired. So I bought a 125k mile warranty for my 12 TE, but so far (at 9500 miles) I have had nothing go wrong yet. (knock on wood)

Purchased my '12 SR5 new on 12/18/12 and as of today I have put 23,000 miles on it in 4 1/2 months. I'll catch him in a year. I average around 1200 miles a week going to construction sites for work in 3 states. Good thing my company pays me mileage for my vehicle, it covers all my expenses and then some. That is the reason I buy nothing but Toyotas, fuel, tires and maintenance is all they require.
