How to fix stock headlights leaking water

Hi all,

I have a 07 sport and its been raining a lot and where there's rain, there are puddles. It has caused a lot of water to leak into my headlights and fogs and made them look really bad. Does anyone know where water may be leaking into them from and how to fix this?

I had this issue with the head lights on my 2005. Ended up baking them and pulling them apart.....which created a good opportunity to black out the headlight surround.
When I put the headlight assy's back together I layed a small bead of Yamabond 4 around the entire sealing edge and haven't had a problem since

x2. I had the same thing on my '08. Ended up pulling the headlight assembly out and used a heat gun to get it hot enough that the seal will pull apart. Then cleaned everything up, and used butynol rubber to re-seal the headlight. I picked up a roll at NAPA. It's pretty easy to do, and beats buying a new headlight.

I did mine 3years ago and haven't had a problem.
