How to identify the build date on a 2006

I'm going to look at and test drive a 2006 4Runner Sport tomorrow. After reading through the head gasket sticky I'm very wary of buying it. Some posters commented on a specific month and date of the actual build. After looking up how to decode the vin it appears that the vin only tells model year and not the actual build date. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm in no financial shape to have to spend thousands on a head gasket job, Thanks in advance!

I bought a 2006 and didn’t even think to check the build date. Well needless to say it was built 09/2005. The Head gasket is good right now. Crossing my fingers it holds up.

The build date should be in the upper right corner of the VIN sticker as you read it (sticker is installed sideways) on the driver's door jamb, should be similar to.... Date 09/05
