How to maintain my 4Runner's Battery? Please advise.

The red circle indicates to add distilled water. Can anyone give me some tips on whether I need to add distilled water or...?... and if so, how much to which access port?

Its listed as maintenance free?

Remove the cover that say MAINTENANCE FREE BATTERY and add H2O.
Don't fill to top, there should be a line to fill to.

Thanks, that is exactly what I did. The red indicator wasn't lying it took 1/2 GALLON of distilled water.

1. Turn on Engine
2. Fill battery
3. 20 minute highway drive
4. Back in action (BLUE indicator is back) Thanks!

1\2 gal ?? holy crap, it's a wonder the battery even worked.
I've never heard of a battery need that much.

Too much water can "boil" out, and the acid/water can ruin paint.

Exactly. Dipstick on our Corolla also says "No need to replace transmission fluid", and to check owner's manual, BUT manual makes no mention of ATF, either. But would you believe that?
