Mods do have the ability to merge threads and they have.
I think normally it should just open the drop down menu, but it does redirect real quick to user cp before doing so. Maybe it's a little slow or the target url got partially deleted?

Yeah I dunno - when I click on it, it just goes straight to user cp, no drop down or anything

I'm using Safari. That's weird then, because it started working later that night, I had figured you had fixed whatever problem it was. I'm not sure if anyone else had the same problem though. Welp, whatever! haha thanks!
Prevent or at least resize overly large pictures that blow out the margins. Other forums have solved the problems with overly large pictures but this site allows them.
Another one, in regards to pictures, is to allow the picture to be rotated in posting. Some people don't know, or care, how they take photos and I have to turn my head to view photos.
With blown out margins and pictures on their side, I generally just hit the back button and don't read the post.
This isn't a monitor size problem as I have a 28" monitor.

Not a bad idea , is there a way to auto resize pics ? Not that fsr does much for the site but would make it much easier also you guys went from 25 per post to 20? Or am I imagining things ? Keep up the good work guys, this place gets better all the time !

Ok! Found the thread.
First off, I think we need a revised set of mods. A lot of the original set are gone and this forum is falling into chaos as far as organization goes because there are only 3 active if I heard correctly..
I think a regional section is in order for the B.S. threads. This way it would be easier to organize the local communities and it would be easier for new members to find local groups to go play in the sand, dirt, and rocks. (Or help with mods). This would also help clear out the off-topic forum and make things easier to find.
An easy way to post pictures is pretty important too!

There is already a regional section it's just hard to find. To be honest I have been a member of Jeep, Chevy, Audi, VW, Toyota and a few other forums and no one really uses any regional sub forums. I wish they did though because it'd make it easier to find locals with similar interest and people willing to help you wrench on your POS.

Tacomaworld has regional forums and it was SUPER easy to find guys that have Tacomas and wheel that live 10 miles from me. It was simple to find them. Here it's a hard struggle. I usually see someone is from MA or NH and I PM them to invite them over to Tacomaworld honestly. It's a better community there because it is established and embraced there.
I like the regional sub forums as well. I never use them because it seems like no one else does and I would only be posting for myself. One of the issues with the regional forums like rebel said is that they are towards the bottom of the home page where no one scrolls that far down, then you have to click the link to get to another list of forums. It's not that it's too much work to click a button, I think it's just hidden just enough so that most people don't know that it's there and don't explore the website enough to find it.

[MENTION=5653]admin[/MENTION] I agree with the moderators suggestion. We need some new moderators that are more active on the forum and WANT to make a difference on the forum. I have sent multiple PM's to the current moderators about what we can do to improve the site and how we can work together. I have not received any responses from any of them. I think this is an awesome website and we can make it better by having more team work in the staff section to organize and run the forums together as a team instead as individuals.

Well, I guess I'll send [MENTION=5653]admin[/MENTION] a PM as well if it will make a difference. I have a few ideas that I have seen work on another forum that I'm a moderator on, and I think this site could greatly benefit from with just a little rearranging.
Actually, why don't I post a link to the forum page? Check out how the regional forums are. They are very busy. I don't see why T4R couldn't be... there are plenty of members.

Honestly I would love to see the marketplace have a little more structure. That is something the moderators could do via a set of mandatory posting rules. It would help people sell, people buy and hopefully help out traffic a bit.

SV-Dude seems willing and he's not alone.
I think the issue is a lack of clear policies for when to and when not to move or delete a thread.
If the policy for general section is that it must be site, or Toyota related then that should be clear. If the rules are to be enforced then they should apply to every thread going back 5 pages.

Another matter, I (again) nominate the creation of a regional section /regional/ to be directly listed under the Classic 4Runners link.
Right now those state/city sections are all buried deep in the site. I didn't even know they existed until I was about 1500 posts into being an active member.
Create a /regional/ , move the city/state subsections under /regional/ and make it listed directly below Classic 4Runners. There are plenty of sub-sections you could bump lower for example TSB or Pimp Zone which have practically NO traffic. A regional section at the top of the front page will grow site traffic, trust us

There's no lack of moderators, that's for sure.... there's just a lack of moderators that log in to this site. There's SV and I think maybe two or three others? Right now you're pretty much asking him to go back five pages and move everything "to be fair."
