I would like a way to attach things with belt or pocket clips to the plastic area to the right of your knee on the driver side 5th gen

Console mount
I have a simple two pocket holder for my sunglasses that just rests between the seat and the console. I got that at Pep Boys Auto Parts store.
For the phone mount by RAM I drilled and bolted through the steel body below the plastic console just above the floor. It's a bit of a trick to see the nut up next to the transmission but It's not that hard to do from below.
Look at the various ways people have mounted iPads and phones on RAM mounts in a thread here. Some people did it through the console. Do the search.
