How to remove Park Neutral Position Switch? *Pic*

I dropped my transmission over the weekend & having difficulty removing the park neutral position switch from my old transmission. How much force is needed to pull the switch off? In the first pic I circled my switch in yellow & you can see there isn't a nut or locking plate holding it in place but still unable to remove it (I did unbolt it). For whatever reason, mine did not have the nut and lock plate which I circled in red in the 2nd pic.

I've seen those search results you posted. For removal they basically say to remove the bolt, nut & locking plate and it can be pulled off. I've done all that, the problem is I'm having difficulty trying to pull it off the transmission which is why I asked how much force is needed to slide it off or if there's something else that needs to be done to remove the switch.

How much force is needed to pull the switch off?

if it's anything like my sequoia...a lot. you just really need to crank on it. wedge a big screwdriver or pry bar between the switch and transmission housing and pry from different directions. it will eventually slide off but you may have to use a decent amount of muscle. i thought i was going to snap my big flathead screwdriver in half (probably came super close) when doing this but eventually is starting moving a tiny bit at a time.

Thank you. That's exactly what I needed to know. I did feel like I was using a decent amount of force just pulling on it with my hands when I initially dropped my transmission but will go at it with pry bars this weekend.

That looks like the switch on my 2012. My rear camera is acting up and im wondering if this has somethign to do with it?

I was able to remove my park neutral switch using a small pry bar. Had to pry along the edges of the switch & gradually lever it off. I bought a new one in case I broke the original during removal. I now have the old one as back up.
