I'm going to be watching both the upper and lower vids today as I am doing my daughters 96 later on today. I checked with the local shop, they say 3.3 hours per side-so $600+ to the job-labor only, she already bought the parts.

BTW this 15 post thing really is a hinderance. 10 should be fine to weed out the goons.

so not knowing what was asked....yes use only toyota lower ball joints.
and simple tools make it easy unless your in a rust belt. The large and small pitman pullers from O rielleys makes the tie rod end and ball joint just pop off with little effort or damage....better than smaking with a hammer or using a pickle fork.
Torque specs are important...sure timmy lists them in his video
