How to replace your factory speakers... Lots of PIC!!!

So not sure if any of you other new members knew this but there is other sections outside of the 5th gen forum... I know I don't like it either out there, it's scary and I can never figure out if the writeup I am looking at will work for the the 5th gen... Go JayBee did a great write on how to replace the stock speakers with lots of pics... Thought I would post here where most might be able to find it easily.

but why is this not a sticky (looking at you now [MENTION=66316]1engineer[/MENTION])? all the awesome information has been compiled here about how to change out close to all, if not all, the speakers, and even create mounting brackets to install different sized speakers.

so i ask again, why is this not referenced in the sticky?!

Thanks but tried that and theyre not coming off. Guess im going to have to bring them into a shop to fab brackets.
