Greetings all!
Recently picked up a gem of a 4Runner from the Cape Cod area - '00 SR5 4x4 manual transmission with only 103k miles. Sealed the deal during the first round of really rough weather in the northeast, so it took a while to arrange a transport company to get out there, pick it up and deliver to Austin. The interior is immaculate and the body's condition is better than what I had expected from a 14 year old vehicle. Only downside is the rust underneath, so self-etching primer has become a close friend then at some point I'll POR-15 the rust off and/or replace parts as necessary. ToyTec Ultimate 3" lift with OME shocks and springs in back installed last night, will detail the build progress in another thread...
Appreciations in advance to the forum's collective wisdom - been lurking the site for a while in anticipation of finding the right vehicle and the information you've all provided, be it an in-depth build thread or just a highly detailed signature file, has been extremely helpful. Hoping to pay it forward!
