:hello: I just recently purchased a pretty clean 1989 22re 4Runner with 107xxx miles on it. I drove all the way to Delaware in a rental car and drove back to Georgia in the 4Runner. Ended up putting about 1,100 miles on the truck in 2days. This is my third first gen. My first was a 1987 22re and my second was another 1989 but it had a 3.0 in it. I'm a caretaker of a 400acre farm in the middle of no where. Me and my girlfriend have 2 dogs, Raven and PeeWee, who love to ride in the truck. Lots of dirt roads and when it rains it gets pretty slippery out here. It's nice to have the 4 wheel drive when I need it. I joined this forum looking to gain some knowlege and understanding about my truck. Hopefully you guys can learn from me as I'm learning from you. I'm really digging all the exciting first gen build threads and the rad pictures in the gallery. I'm looking forward to being a part of this forum. Hats off! :yo:
