I just found this out today. I'm sure some of the t4r users might not know about this but i would like to share this information. Last night, i was installing my subwoofers. I got everything wired up besides powering it in the battery. I had to unbolt one of the nut to put the power cord on but unfortunately, when i put the nut back on, the alarm went off. Sounds basic about if an alarm goes off, so just turn it off with the remote. But then! my mom lost my keys which it has the remote in it. So now, my car will not start and the alarm will NOT go away. But anyways, here's the instructions of how to turn off the alarm. This only works for STOCK Toyota alarm only. If you have a red LED bulb and you could press on it. Continuously press on that LED button and try to ignite your car at the same time. You have to do BOTH of these at the same time and just keep on igniting until the car starts. After it's start, it has been resetted and now you can turn it off now. Which the alarm will not trigger on anymore. Hope this would be helpful for others because it sure does for me. Didn't get to drive my 4runner all day today. -_-
