So many of you know that I live in Friendswood, TX, where Harvey did some of his worst work. My wife and I have spent the last several days gutting floors, walls, insulation, etc. from peoples' homes and the stories are horrific. The damage is unimaginable. That being said, there was one little family, in particular that my wife and I have decided to try to help beyond the initial demo of the home. A sweet 40 year old single mom (Rebecca Haschke) of two adorable little boys lost EVERYTHING! Their one-story home got almost four feet of water inside, destroying all of their belongings. They have no flood insurance and NOBODY to help them. Several of you have asked me what can you do to help. I hope that I am not violating any forum rules by mentioning this, but my wife set up a "Go Fund Me" page so that just maybe we can give them a little head start:

No, she does not own a 4Runner, BUT she does own a Toyota Highlander! At least, she did, but the flood destroyed that as well (however, her car insurance should take care of that). I decided to post a couple of pics of her house after we gutted it so you can see for yourselves what this poor family is dealing with:
