Husky Liners - Where did you buy em? And Pictures?

I have read lots of threads on this forum on the debate between Husky and Weathertech floor liners.

After reading the reviews, I believe Husky is going to be a better fit for me based on my uses for them.

That being said, whoever has Husky liners, where did you buy yours? I am in Canada and am wanting a good deal...is Husky Liners direct website the best place to buy them for price? I noticed that they ship them to Canada for $10, for a total cost of around $100.

And, if you have them, can you post pictures of your Husky Liners (I will only order the front ones, and thus that's all I am wanting to see pictures of)?

I'll snap a few for you. I didn't purchase mine, so I can't help you with where to buy. I will tell you this though: the next time I go looking for liners, I will not be buying husky. They don't seem to fit well, even though they are supposed to be fit for the truck. Anyway, I'll get a few pics for you later on today if it's not raining. I gotta finish my homework first before I leave this room, girlfriends orders. lol dammit.

I just recieved mine the other day. I'm also in Canada and took advantage of the low US dollar a couple of months ago and ordered from autoanything.com. I had them shipped to a family member in the states and then picked them up when I visited to avoid duty. You can buy them here, but they're around $100 instead of around $65 in the US. If you have them shipped here, you will have to pay duty.

I am very happy with the fit EXCEPT the lip where the liner meets the bottom of the door, which I found didn't look the best and I caught my foot on it occasionally. I just used some velcro tape to hold it down and now its perfect.

IMO, the weathertecs fit better (lay flat) around the door sill & are thicker. i had the huskeys in my jeep & also found them slippery when wet, but most dont have that problem, maybe they just seemed that way since i had a much higher step in without running boards on it. heres a link of how the WT fit on the sill, compared to the hushy . http://www.toyota-4runner.org/4th-gen-t4rs/33815-weathertech-floor-mats.html

^^that's a good link there explaining what my problem is with the huskeys compared to the weathertechs. That being said, the huskeys still work and do their job, just don't really like the fit.

The only issue I have had with Weathertech liners is they have that hole in the mat and the mats will not hold water if it accumulates. I bought the Husky liners from Amazon.com but first I went on Husky's website to get the part numbers I needed. Ended up being the cheapest I found because they have free shipping specials almost daily.

I guess the only way to solve that issue would be to run a color coded silicone around the floor hook. I just removed that hook, those Husky Liners have a great bite into the carpet.

the hole in the Weathertechs was a real concern for me also, being in Colorado and doing lots of snow runs, I went ahead got a set, having them in the 99, but to be honest, the hole has not been an issue.
The design of them are pretty good, my thought was IF it was going to be a problem, Id get put a peice of tape over the hook hole, but never needed to :bravo:

I have the weathertechs and love them. My kid spills stuff all over the place and yet they hold eveything in it. I dont have the husky ones so I can't comment on those but +1 for the weathertechs...

Hey I did the same thing last summer, Husky all the way - no holes in any of the mats!!! The Husky cargo liner has a taller lip i believe than weather tech. ANyhow i have Husky front liners, second row and cargo liner and would buy them all again. They get covered in dirt, mud and ice, i take them out hose them off and then put them back in and they look like new! I got mine form autoanything - looked up coupons from mrrebates and got a good deal.

My front liners cover the whole floor very well, i removed the clips on the carpet as per the husky instructions and the mats lie flat, nothing gets caught by my feet as someone said above. They grip the carpet extremely well and dont move around at all. I had them over winter and they werent slippery when wet?! They are great i woudl recommend them! Put it this way i have hardly heard of anyone who has a Husky liner who woudlnt buy them again, but ive heard of weathertech owners who would buy a husky in the future.... Ill snap some pics for ya!
