Husky Mud Guards

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I bought the Husky Mud Guards and was trying to install it on my 2011 4Runner SR5 but ran to an issue with the u-clips that came with the package. They were to short to fit on the car. Can I buy the u-clips from somewhere like homedepot or some have a solution? Thanks.

If I remember correctly, the u clips act as a nut. I don't think it "clips" over the liner, just place it on the other side of the hole and thread the screw in to it.

Sorry for the bump but did you guys cut that little mud flap in the front? It looks like that either needs to be removed or cut the lower portion off for the husky to fit correct with both there I'm afraid it's going to rub the tire

I cut mine. It looked pretty useless anyway.

OP if it's the same thing in front of the rear wheels, I think it's just there for aerodynamics, feel free to remove it.

while we're on the topic, do the husky guards provide any benefit over the oem sr5 flaps? like less dirt gets sucked up onto the tailgate (wishful thinking)

I have a Linited but I find there is still lots of crap that gets on the tailgate. It's just how the 4Runner is designed and I don't think any mud guard will help that.
