And me not doing much. We got alot of rain in the past week, this is usually much dryer.

Fuel pumper died. This was my no hot start issue.Took the opportunity upgrade a little. Its a summit racing 12 gal cell with an Airtex E2000 external pump. Fuel pump is mounted in the angle iron that was the old tank mount. It also allowed me to move my tool box for better access.

Drove down the road to a friends shop to pick up some parts and catch up, also did a little flexin. Its a 36" tall ramp.

Had to take the winch completely apart to get the rusted motor out. It was seized into the bearing, which was crunchy sounding too. The DB electric motor came with a new bearing, so it went back together.

My fiance and I just bought out first house. Nice little 10 acre chunk in Northfield VT. Mostly field but some stuff to play on, and eventually there will be a rock course some where on the property. But what Im most excited for is that for the first time in 5 years, my truck is at where Im living. And I have my own garage. And as soon as I get it set up I can get the truck in and get working on some maintenance issues!

Leaving my folks shop in Royalton, just a short 30 min tow. It will be back in November for a trail ride here.

Been a bit since an update. My Nov trail run went great, wheeled a bunch, not many pictures.

Made it 10 min into our Dec run and the front r&p let go. The front end bounced and when the spinning wheels hit the ground it was all done. ting ting ting ting.
Walked the rest of the day and then dragged it home to get fixed.

Used 4.10 3rd, welded up and ready to go.

Trucks back together and weve been having some fun with it around here. Its going back in the garage soon to have the t case pulled and sealed, because its leaking out of everywhere.

With the first gathering of the season right around the corner, time to get some maintenance done. First is to address the leaky t case.

And a little tear down.

Time to start cleaning and re assembling.

Those trans cases are no joke. So many parts to put back in the wrong order.

I just take my time, and the Trail gear instructions are pretty helpful.

Some re assembly, but had to stop when I found the splines on the front output were twisted! Oops. Probably happened when the front ring and pinion went last December.

Ill be picking up another case tuesday for parts and get it back together.

Pulled the "new" output shaft out of the donor case, and got a little more assembled on the good case. Should get it finished up tomorrow.

Little more wire brushing and well have it back together. 1/2 way done with the one on the right, still need to do the left case.

T case together and cleaned up, and back in the truck. Ill throw the drive shafts on tomorrow after work and take her for a spin!

Took the time to through bolt the pass side engine mount to match the drivers side. 1/2x3" grade 8

Retorqued the high steer arms and ubolt, greased the drive train changed the tranny fluid, went through and organized recovery gear. Shell be already for a little wet spring wheelin next weekend! Even washed and vacuumed the inside!

Finally getting nice enough out I can wrench with the door open again.

Wheeled a few weekends back, same place as before. The Jungle in Bethel Vt, it was much wetter but nothing broke.

Headed out again this weekend to Field and Forrest Rec Area in Southern NH.

Hey, quick question for ya! How do you like that Miller 180? I had a 175 but they don't sell it any more and I'm going to be in need of a new welder for my other project car.

Was thinking of trying the Esab, but not sure I really need all those bells and whistles, seems to just be more stuff to go wrong.

Hey thanks! The 180 is pretty sweet, does everything I can throw at it. My step dad uses it a lot more than I do and he has no complaints.

Not a lot of news other than a wheeling a bunch. After 2 years of wheeling on them, my RUFs are shot. Going to replace with some Old Man Emus.

Old bastard pack made from 2 or 3 other 48" rear 4runner springs. New springs are 2" lift for same said 4 runner (cs009r). I may have to modify them a bit, but it gives me a great pack to start with. Paying with ride heights tomorrow night.

Springs are on. I pulled the long overload but left the short one. Got about 3" of lift from them over my old springs. The spring clamp may hit the pitman arm, so ill have to watch that when flexing it out tomorrow.
