I bought a project

I found a 98 with rear locker with lots of issues.
I paid $1000
Hopefully I won’t regret it.
It’s a California car with no rust.
250K miles
Check engine lift on, P0171, runs rough, possibly an injector.
Oil leaks.
Paint is peeling and faded.
Needs tires.
Who knows what else I’ll find.

I’m going to bring it home tomorrow.

I plan on working on it, with my 15 year old daughter.
Its going to be hers to take to college when were done.

Thats the good stuff, paid a grand for mine as a paperweight so running is already a leg up.

I brought it home

Looks like misfires on #4, I ordered injectors.
It has loose shifter due to worn bushings, and torn j shifter rubber boot, will order tomorrow from the dealer.
I also tested the locker, works as designed!
