Hello guys,

I finally pulled the trigger and bought a 2012 4runner limited edition. I got a lot of helpful information from this site before I was planning to buy it, and now I'm here as an actual owner like all you guys, I'm happy with my decision.

The story was: I really really love the FJ cruiser but wife wants a SUV with 4 doors for the family, she actually likes the Highlander (which I'm not a fun of...) so after checking out the cars at the dealer, we decided to get the 4runner, I like the FJ like design and thought it would be good for the never ending winter in Wyoming :)

So far I've been pretty happy with it, only complaint is the underpowered engine, it's pretty had to get this heavy truck moving even with the ECO mode turned off, not sure if there's a way to adjust it.

Anyway, it's good to finally be a member and I look forward to sharing my 4runner experience with you guys in the future.

Good choice on not getting a highlander, my wife likes them as well but eff all that SUV built on a car crap. Body on fame is the only way to go

what color did you go with? My dad has a 2011 Limited in the Shoreline Blue Pearl, I really like it.

also, I feel you on the power (or lack thereof). I had an 07 GMC Sierra before my 02 runner and the power difference has really been my only disappointment.

I got the Blizzard Pearl color, another guy bought a limited edition with the Shoreline Blue Pearl color same time as me at the dealer, that one looks nice too.

I still drive a F150 occasionally from my work, I have to say, the throttle responses are waaaaaaaaaaaaay different :lookout:
