never ever let them touch your rig, they will fubar it, that said i have no problem buying big name brand parts from them and stupid little things like recovery gear and such heck even tires as they don't have anything todo with that other then being a middle man, but i always stay away from the parts they sale from companies i've never heard of and would strap some c-4 to my truck before i let one of those guys with a wrench near it. i'm not great at working on my truck but i'm better then 90% of those guys.
