The grabbers are what I was originally looking at until the users here started posting some other stuff. Does anyone have experience with the grabbers? I like the looks and they get great reviews...

My local Sams Club has 265/70-17 BFG Rugged Terrains for $161 a piece. I've been considering them for my 2015 SR5. I think they come in many sizes. The reviews of these tires sound good. Low road noise, ample tread, good wear and a moderately aggressive look.

I would pay attention to weight of said tires. First hand experience made ma aware of that problem, 5 pounds can make a difference. One might not think so, however 5 Ibs. sitting in the cab is different then 5 Ibs. rolling, I'm sure someone here can explain it in scientific terms.
For me it happened when the tire shop accidently installed load "E" instead of my ordered load "C". All of a sudden I has having to downshift on hills I normally gained speed on and taking off from a full stop was painful. Now of course size had some factor in play but that dynamic load was more then I wanted to deal with without new gears.
Goodyear Duratracs were my choice and I am really impressed with them, if I didn't get good years then I would have gotten a set of coopers

I have liked these enough to own 3 sets on 2 different 4runners. I haven't tried the ATP's but they look like they would be a good tire.
Tried the Nittos, BFG ATs, duratracs and the cooper STT...of them all, I would go with the Terra grapplers again due to price and I found they had excellent wet traction IMO.

Hard to say, I've only had them a week. They hum a little going down the road and I mean a little; but nothing that keeps you from listening to the radio or having a conversation.

Same here. I had them in deep snow over the Christmas holidays and they were really good for a tire that has good road manors. Mine are a little louder 15k miles in, but not bad at all, and I think they look great.

I'm with RedRunner on this one go with the Duratrac's or BFG KO or the BFG KO2s. I have the Duratracs and i love them so far. Guy i know hooked me up i got them for 170 each.
